The Capital Ritz Banquet & Dance Studio was built out of their love for the community of Jefferson City in 1997 by Drs. Philo & Kwei Lee Su.

Initially, Philo & Kwei took up ballroom dancing as a hobby to relieve stress and to balance their busy work schedules.  However, they had a hard time finding a smoke-free environment in which to dance in, so they decided that they would build a state-of-the art studio offering special effect lighting, digital sound system, and beautiful real floating hardwood ballroom dance floors,

Not only is the Capital Ritz Banquet & Dance Studios used for dancing and wellness classes, but also available for renting to hold conventions, meetings, fundraisers, receptions, and banquets.

The Capital Ritz provides everything necessary to make your event successful and beautiful including catering.

They have been happily serving the community since opening in 1997 and love everyone that graces the Capital Ritz with their presence.
